Aconite: A state of fear and anxiety that comes on suddenly. Susceptible in hot or windy dry weather. Worry might be the overwhelming symptom, anxiety caused from noise, people or crowds. Might be better outside and worse inside. Physical symptoms might include extreme thirst, vomiting, profuse urination, restlessness, panting, alternate hot and cold.
Aconite is a useful remedy at first state of shock or anxiety.
Arnica: Highly excitable, (positive and negative) afraid of being touched, hypersensitivity of whole body, pain with every movement, feels bruised, aching, sore, lame. Wants to be left alone. Agoraphobia. Very useful after a physical trauma and to help heal bruising.
Arsenicum: Fear and restlessness especially in the middle of the night. Takes small sips of water, but may may vomit. Great exhaustion after every exertion. Nausea, retching, vomiting after eating, abdomen swollen and painful. May have constricted respiration. Dry itchy skin, eczema.
Lycopodium: Barking, then runs away, fearful of other dogs or men but puts on a display of courage whilst being nervous inside.
Phosphorus: Inquisitive, fidgety dogs who find it hard to concentrate. Can be difficult to train, can be very determined, highly strung. Cannot stand to be left alone, very fearful of loud bangs, fireworks, atmospheric changes, approaching storms, hides head under furniture.
Pulsatilla: Hates to be left alone, separation anxiety may lead to excessive chewing or bad behaviour when left on own. May be mild, yielding and obedient whilst by the owners side and sad and morose if left. Lovable but inclined to whimper if they cant get their own way.
